Hotel is in Zocalo area... 2 minutes walk to 7/11 and the metro stations. 5 minutes walk to the cathedral and Temple Mayor. Very nice place. And besides there is a very good restaurant. The hotel staff is great. They did their best for the customers. If I come to Mexico City again, I absolutely stay in that hotel. If you are not looking for a very big room and very big bathroom, it is ok for you. There is 2 bottle of water, towels, soap and shampoo in the room.
The staff are pleasant. Clientele are primarily Mexicans from outside the city, and they are warm and helpful. Spanish--not English--is the language of communication here. The location is excellent for visiting sites in the Centro Histórico, and for seeing how working class Mexicans live in the surrounding neighborhood. The room was very quiet.
Rooms are small, by North American standards.
Close to Zocalo. Easy to rich from and to airport by taxi. Every day clining and water waiting for you.
It is well located close to the Zocolo, the bed was comfortable, it had an in-room safe, the room was spacious, and the bathroom was very modern. It also had a restaurant which we found very convenient.
In the evening the outside noises of street vendors, etc. penetrated the room. However, by 9 or 10 pm. it was quiet and we slept well.
Really, really good value for money. Our room actually looked better than we expected, looking at the pictures at the Booking. The room was cozy, not too big, but enough. The location is perfect. Close to the Zocalo and the subway, as well as 7 Eleven and a hole in the wall, where they sell sandwiches and coffee in the morning. Hotel restaurant also good. Staff very helpful, but do not speak English too much. However, you can always work it out by using gestures :) We recommend!
Was really central and handy to everything
The tv was old and had no remote and the channels were hard to change also was abit noisy with some machine outside most nights
Great location, walking distance from anything you may need. Very close to the MetroBus stop, 1 block. Good food in any direction, lots of city shopping around. Nice restaurant in the hotel. Room service every day and water in the room (2 bottles)
We had no problems with the size, but rooms are small. However, they have everything you need.
The staff were very helpfull and the location is good
The room was very small, had no window, no air conditioning and was dirty
The hotel is right in the city center, one block from the main plaza. Our room even overlooked the festivities on Cinco de Mayo. The hotel has "free" valet parking! You only need to tip as you get or drop off your car. The room had air conditioning and two elevators. The staff were ready to help whenever needed. There is shopping and restaurants in every direction from the hotel. The taxis were sometimes more convenient to use than driving, it was only 50-80 pesos to somewhere in town. I could stay there again, it was a good value for the money.
The hotel was fine, I only wished the rooms had a small refrigerator.
Perfectly situated. Enough comfortable and clean. The nearby restotant is very good.
Only one guy of the personel speaks a little bit English. It will be good if someone from the front desk smiles at least once a day.
Clean and comfortable. Five minutes walk from the very center. Nice restaurant. Everything is just as it should be in this type of the hotel.
A bit noisy... But that's the center of the city. Rooms are not big at all. Good to stay a night or two, but may be too small for the longer staying.
Close to all the great Mexico City downtown sights. Very nice and clean. Good, reasonably priced restaurant attached. Two bottled waters in room every day.
Could use some hand and face towels. Hotel was quiet but street out front was very noisy, they would not move use to an inside room when requested.
Was a coincidence, but the same night there were construction works just befor the hotel and it was impossible to sleep (compression drilling, heavy machinery, sirens etc). Hotel should not lend rooms under such conidtions. In their favor, they agreed to change the room during the night when hope was lots that the construction gets done (like ca 3 am)
This hotel is located two blocks from El Zocalo, Mexico City's main square. It is very convenient, has a restaurant and room service, nicely furnished and clean, Wi-FI.
No swimming pool.
Enjoyed the hotel's proximity to El Zocalo- very convenient for city touring.
